Your passion is fishing and you do it quite often. Now, however, you decided to change and, since you like spending your time at the sea and have bought an inflatable raft, you decided to equip yourself in order to go comfortably fishing with your new aquatic means of transport. But you don’t know where to start from. Well, we are here for this reason! Following our advice, you will soon be able of preparing everything you need and equipping new inflatable raft.
Obviously, to go fishing from an inflatable raft is not the same thing as doing it on a river shore or on the beach. The rules to follow are different if you want to obtain good results. First of all, the inflatable raft is used a lot to go fishing because it gives a great navigation stability, a reduced weight and then it is really comfy and simple to use, so that since the 60s it has been used also for underwater fishing. On the basis of the use one has in mind, then, it is possible to apply an outboard to the inflatable raft.
The necessary condition is that your means for sport fishing has keel in fiberglass. Moreover, it is necessary to settle a small fridge on board, so that you can keep the fish cool during the hunt. The best place to set the fridge is between the locker at the bow and the conn. If you use fishing rods to fish, our advice is to keep them inside a basket to be positioned next to the conn. As regards, instead, the inflatable rafts in PCV, we suggest to keep all the fishing equipment in baskets without hampering, taking into consideration the miss of holding lockers.
Weights on the inflatable raft have to be as balanced as possible, in order to avoid navigation problems, trying so to arrange in the central part all the things you don’t need during the fishing and do not have to get wet: for instance, the lifejacket and the oil for the mixing. Obviously, you will bring with you things that need to be absolutely protected, such as the mobile, your keys, etc. You should maybe place these quite small objects in the opening under the conn.
